Sales/ Business Development Manager

What you will do:
You will contribute to better and safer roads by introducing innovative products to road owners, road construction companies, surveyors and automotive companies. You will also create business opportunities for a new generation of solid-state LiDARs in industrial and automotive applications.
As a Sales and business development Manager, you will find and develop business opportunities in the fast-growing markets of Digital Twins, Mobile Mapping and AI-based perception.
- You assess sales and market opportunities and research specific target markets. You analyze customer needs and alternative offerings in the market.
- You gather and prioritize customer opportunities, both for products sales and inspection services.
- You create a funnel, meet and negotiate with potential customers and close deals.
- You attend conferences and trade fairs.
- You will work on opportunities all over Europe.
- You will provide market insights and customer feedback and work closely together with the engineering, marketing and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- You turn customer interaction into sales and contribute to the further growth of the company.
What you will need:
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English (Dutch, French and German are a plus).
- You demonstrate strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- You have a technical background or experience with opto-electronic products
- You are customer-focused and like to build relationships with an international customer base.
- You are results-driven and enjoy starting up a new business offering.
- Expertise on road construction or pavement assessment is a strong plus.
- Experience in business development and negotiations with tenders and authorities is a plus.
- You live in Western Europe and are willing to travel (up to 25% of the time), mostly in Europe and occasionally worldwide.
- You can work independently while having the spirit of a team player.
