Airport Runway

Airport Runway Inspection

Airports perform regular runway inspections to detect FOD (Foreign Object Debris), surface damage, drainage issues, lighting protrusions, and macrotexture deficiencies. XenomatiX delivers a fully integrated, pavement inspection solution designed to ensure runway safety with millimeter-level precision. We enables fast, automated, and repeatable runway assessments — day and night.

How It Works

XenomatiX pavement inspection system integrates several sensors to capture high precision surface data on concrete pavement, runways and taxiways.

Installation on any vehicle takes approximately 45 minutes, enabling rapid deployment across airports worldwide. The system is easily transportable and can be carried as standard passenger luggage. Collected data is processed quickly, generating fully actionable inspection reports in PDF and Excel formats to support immediate maintenance decisions.

Applications

XenomatiX supports critical inspection applications at major international airports, including pavement crack detection and precise crack positioning, evenness analysis with identification of depressions, potholes, and faulting, drainage performance evaluation, runway light protrusion detection, FOD detection with accurate georeferencing, macrotexture (MPD) measurement for wet skid resistance analysis, and automated Pavement Condition Index (PCI) calculation on both asphalt and concrete surfaces. Even the smallest objects are detected, positioned, and documented with millimeter-level accuracy.

XenoTrack & XenoLights

XenomatiX uses the XenoTrack road lidar, and XenoLights for night time data collection. XenoLights is an integrated high-performance lighting system designed to ensure consistent, uniform illumination of the runway surface, enabling accurate measurements and reliable inspections during low-light and night operations.
