Developing 3D vision together

As a member of our R&D division, you will be working in the embedded software team to bring up our next generations of solid state lidars for industrial applications, ADAS or AD use cases. You will be in the heart of the development of world-class technology.

Being an experienced firmware engineer, you will take part in the daily scrums and provide inputs for the planning and task breakdown for the development sprints. We expect you to take ownership of the allocated tasks, share your knowledge and insights with your colleagues, follow a clear development methodology that converges in a timely manner and with the required quality.  You will work closely together with the electronics team to bring-up the in-house designed electronics and provide early feedback in the system design cycle for good firmware performance.

What you’ll need:
  • You have a technical university degree, preferably in embedded software or computer science, electrical or electronics engineering.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • You know how to write clean and efficient C programs with optimal resource allocation
  • You possess knowledge of building and programming techniques for embedded Linux, in a Linux environment with Makefile, GCC/GDB.  Experience with maintaining Yocto and building Linux kernels, U-Boot and device tree are a plus.
  • You have experience with programming high performance SoCs (preferably Xilinx, but also Nvidia, TI, NXP or similar).
  • You have experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and testing environments, such as Jenkins and Robot Framework.
  • You have a logical approach to problem-solving, and have a convincing development methodology
  • Systematic testing and problem solving in a converging way is an approach you rigorously apply
  • You are able to transparently communicate about your tasks, their status and development challenges so you can rely on the support, knowledge and expertise of the team and vice versa.
  • You are passionate about your professional career and your technical skills.

As a bonus, you have some experience in at least one of these:

  • Vectorizing C code, preferably with ARMv8 and NEON extension.
  • Secure boot and disk encryption on Xilinx or similar platform.
  • OTA firmware upgrade.
  • VHDL programming on Xilinx or similar platform.

What we offer:

  • Great team spirit: we are a motivated, dynamic and committed team, we support each other and value teamwork.
  • We share one common vision: we thrive to contribute to the mobility evolution and build a future where roads are a safer place for everyone
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: we never stop learning, we embrace innovation and change
  • Growing with us: you become part of a growing company that values and develops its people. You will play a central role to the company development and success. You will have the opportunity to take on different challenges, grow and learn.
  • High tech environment full of technical talent
